LIFE ON THE ICE !
James auto continues there unbeaten streak, stretching it to four games and the tops of the standings. Gerry Provencal started the scoring in the first shift just 39 seconds in, taking the puck from Dave Poison. They would continue to dominate the first with another goal, this one set up by Provencal and Poison. CMSI would strike back and get 2 goals to tie it up, proving the worst lead in hockey is a 2 goal lead. James Auto would not be thwarted. They would grab a third goal with 4 seconds left in the period set up by Keith Choquete. The second period was a stalemate. CMSI would get back into this one again at the beginning of the 3rd. Back and forth they would go. James Auto got back in the lead just 20 seconds after the tie Mike Landry getting the eventual game winner. James wouldnt look back. They would finish with a 6-4 win over CMSI. NOTE: Please get me CMSI's numbers so i can give them love when they do something.
Green Goddess has continued its unbeaten streak to 7 and is second in the standings. They had their hands full with JNM as the green teams went at it. The Goddess would break the bubble within 5 minutes. Joel Cooper would start it off, no wonder he is the league leader in points. JNM would not allow that to keep them down. Ken Beck would finish the period popping one in for the JNM Transportation. Gary SHOWTIME Myers would join his team in the scoring. In true Showtime fashion, after taking the pass from Ron Fealharber, Myers would get in the SHOW-KAYAK or SHOWBOAT, SHONOE, perhaps? Yup he got down and started paddling. In the end Cooper would get the game winner scoring, with his line mates, Ralph "MY BOO" Espilat and Rich Dias, (THATS DIE-ASS not DEE-ASS). What a game.
J&J has been on a non winning streak at 7 games. Kays had come out and beaten J&J the last two tries. This time, J&J would start the scoring with Jimmy Meegan breaking away from the defense, getting a pass from Phil "Coach" Pincine. Coach had a flawless game. He had a plan and executed it perfectly. Kays would not let the lead last long as they would get one from Jeff Eastman set up nicely by Dennis Tancrell. John Ruggiero would re-take the lead with just over a minute to go in the first, helped out by awesome hustle by Jimmy Meegan again. Andy Meegan would hook up with his brother Peter and had Ruggiero finish the job and get the eventual game winner. 3 stars in this game, Coach, Ruggiero and Mike Dussault, goalie extraordinaire would win this game for J&J.
