Game 1 between Kay's and Norm's Wings turned out to be quite the offensive sloberknocker resulting in a 10-10 tie. Norm's Wings came out of the locker room on fire scoring 3 unanswered goals (all of them by Peter Meegan) but Kay's quickly came back with 3 unanswered goals of their own; the first period ended with a score of 5-3 in favor of Norm's Wings. Kay's started the second period off strongly with 3 unanswered goals with the second period ending 7-6 again going Norm's Wings way. Norm's Wings jumped on the board early in the third period but with Kay's scoring 3 unanswered goals gave them their first lead of the game; Norm's Wings gained control of the game scoring 2 unanswered goals to take a 10-9 lead with 1:09 left in the game. Kay's would not be denied of the valuable point as they scored the game tying goal with 14.1 seconds left in the game to solidify 1 point in the standings. Peter Meegan notched 3 goals and 2 assists for N.W, Dave Rouleau posted 4 goals and 2 assists for N.W, John Engels had 2 goals for Kay's and Chris Payette had 4 assists for Kay's. Norm's Wings has a bye week next week, while Kay's will play James Auto in game 2 next week. 

The late game between J & J Auto and James Auto turned out to be much more of a defensive battle than game 1 of tonights action. James Auto jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when Rob Edleman scored within the first 1:30 of the game and the first period ended with a 2-1 lead for James Auto. Period 2 was a quiet one as only 1 goal was scored and 1 penalty was committed. Period number 3 saw things get very chippy between these two teams as J & J was desperate trying overcome a 2 goal deficit with just minutes left in the game. J & J pulled their goalie hoping that the extra attacker will help lead to goal production, however, their efforts came up just short as James Auto held on to win by a final score of 5-3. Rob Edleman had 3 goals and 2 assists (factoring in all but 1 of James Auto's goals), John Ruggiero and John Flynn each notched a pair of assists. James Auto will play Kay's next week and J & J will play JNM who is fresh off of a bye week.
