ITS ALL FOR THE GLORY.... AND THE BEER
As we head to the ice every Wednesday night, we are ready to play. Unfortunately, busy lives often take over. Such is the case with 401 Consulting. The baby blues, were short handed and lost another player to injury in the first. Down but not out, the Consultants picked up the play in the second after being down a goal to CMSI, who scored in early in the first. Ricky V. (Rick Vascanselos) would score first from SHOWTIME (Gary Myers) feed. The flood gates opened. Show would get another assist. Coop (Joel Cooper) would get 2 and Rich Dias would put one in as well to complete the 5-1 win for 401.
The second game Kays continued its league dominance on the offensive front. This was an absolute adventure. A barn burner and a donnybrook of a game. This game had Jeff Eastman being the juggernaut for the team, scoring 4 and getting 2 assists. Mike "The Birthday Boy" Vacher would lead JNM with Brian Sally getting 3 assists. JNM hung in there to the bitter end scoring with just 7 seconds left. It would not be enough. Kays goalie closed the door on the Green and skated off victors.
In the west coast game, J&J would go up against James Auto a real up and down battle. J&J would put themselves in great shape leading 3-2 headed into the first break. Peter Meegan would start the scoring off set up by John Ruggeiro. Andy Meegan and Derek Franco would also complete the A line Hat Trick with goals of their own. James would Keith Choquete would start the scoring for James with a goal and assist in the first. The hero of the game would be Chip Buckley. Chip would score late in the first, but more importantly, would beat a cheating defensemen down to the crease and score top shelf. Just wanted the peanut butter, cause thats where momma keeps it. That would shut the door on J&J keeping them at the bottom of the standings.
Another great night of Hockey! HAPPY BIG 50 TO MIKE VACHER FROM ALL OF US IN THE LEAGUE.
Live, Breathe, Love.................Hockey!!!!
