JNM started game 1 of week 5 off with a bang scoring 3 unanswered goals to finish the first period off 3-0. Period 2 saw more action as a total of 8 goals were scored in the period. J&J  started off the period with a goal after one of the JNM players batted the puck out of the air and past his goalie. J&J followed that up with another 3 goals before JNM tied the game up at 4. Period 2 ended with JNM leading by 3, with a score of 7-4. JNM extended their lead with an early goal making it 8-4. JNM netted another 2 goals ending the game with JNM taking the W 10-4 over J&J.

Game 2 featuring Kay's and Wheels With Wings (formerly known as Men in Red) saw a closer matchup from the get-go. Kay's jumped out to an early 1-0 lead with a goal coming on just their second shot of the game. The first period ended with Kay's up 2-0 as they netted another goal late in the first. In the second period, Wheels With Wings scored the periods first goal to get within 1, however, 2 goals later in the period by Kay's pushed their lead to 4-1 with period two ending in that very same score. Wheels With Wings looked to have a comeback on their hands as they netted the first goal of the period again to cut the lead down but this time it was not enough as Kay's would seal the deal with good defense and a goal late in the third to finish off the newly named Wheels With Wings. The final score of game 2, Kay's 5-Wheels With Wings 2.
